January 2016 – present

Freelance translator @ 1 Stop-Asia

At 1 Stop Asia, I work as freelance translator for English – Thai – English contents. I have had opportunities to handle works from clients such as Netflix, Google, Twitter and Uber.

November 2015 – present                                                                                                                

Independent researcher @ Local Act, Bangkok

  • Worked on the topic of impacts of the Thai government’s centralised economic policy and the locals’ counteractions using social and environmental safeguards
  • Focused on 1) structural violence, 2) capital flows, and 3) glocalisation
  • Drafted research proposal requesting for grants from USAID
  • Interviewed locals and governmental actors in Special Economic Zone of Mukdahan, Thailand

June – July 2016

Producer Assistant (Intern) @Bonfire Heart Productions

  • organised meetings with potential co-producers, funders, and script writers
  • designed a number of works using graphic design and illustration skills
  • handled official paper works
  • used anthropological insights on analysing scripts

  • Collected data on the epistemology of leptospirosis in North-eastern Thailand and PDR Laos

Technical skills: Excellent command of Microsoft Office, and online presentation tool such as Prezi.com; Good command of photo editing software (Photoshop, Gimp); Good command of video editing programs (Adobe Premiere, VideoPad)

Research skills: Strong qualitative research skill, especially with participant observation method; Basic user of SPSS for quantitative research
